“It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent.” - Madeleine Albright

Greetings dear Community
As I write this we are in Day 127 of lockdown in South Africa and I feel as if I am finally finding comfort in this new rhythm of working from home and, mostly, online.
We, at i4cc are deeply grateful to have connected with so many of you online during this time. To date, we have offered 25 gatherings - 13 reading groups to offer narrative community and continued learnings of narrative ideas and practices and 12 listening circles which have catered for ministers, counsellors, teachers, Matrics, women and men against gender-based violence. Together we have created a vibrant ‘weave’ of stories and experiences and learnt, yet again, the value of holding space for one another.
What are the stories in your life that are calling out to be ‘spoken’ at this time?
August is upon us and, as it is Women's Month, we have some great events on offer.
Woman’s Day
On Saturday 8 August we are hosting an online Women’s Day conversation with four truly inspiring local women

Please support our fundraising efforts and book your spot on https://www.quicket.co.za/events/108942-women-of-faith/
