We are entering the month of the Winter Solstice in the southern hemisphere. Winter - the season of woolly jumpers, cosy scarves, fires, lazy afternoons, hot chocolate, books and plates of warm and filling food. When you think of a favourite winter food or dish, what sorts of memories come to mind? I think of my Mom’s homemade soups and delicious Sunday roasts. What meals do you find yourself yearning for when the days are short and the nights are long? We’d love you to share those favourite recipes with us!

May has been a season of change for i4cc. We said farewell to our colleague and friend, Rev Jane Day. Jane, the founder of the Magnify - Women in Leadership Programme, has returned to the UK with her husband, Rev Stephen Day, after almost 5 years in South Africa. We have learnt so much from our time together and shared so many inspiring moments with this special lady and her presence and support will be missed!

Both Jane and Steve published books before they left our African shores and i4cc have a few copies left. Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing your copy on info@i4cc.co.za.

Don’t forget to join us on Friday 28th June for our monthly Narrative Reading Group!

Looking ahead to July:
6th Quiet Day hosted by Rev Dianne Willman
13th Narrative Conversations with Porn and Sex Addiction with Dr Jo Viljoen for professionals, counsellors and pastoral workers
26th Monthly Narrative Reading Group
Wishing you warm and soulful June days
Nicky and the team at i4cc
